Our Police Station has been located in Walthourville since 2009. We always have staff on patrol in order to keep our beautiful city safe and sound at all hours of the day and night. All of our officers are highly trained in crime prevention to protect the community from threats and dangers.

Our History
Walthourville Police Department was established in 2009 in order to serve the community of Walthourville . Our police officers hold the important civic duty of protecting the community by preventing crime and enforcing law and order. We strive to act responsibly and impartially every day in order to maintain the public’s trust and safety.

We will work hard to establish a partnership between citizens and police to promote equity, enhance law enforcement, and aid in the prevention of crime to preserve the public peace.
Our job duties range from enforcing city ordinances, Georgia law, and federal laws. This involves executing the orders, warrants and precepts of the Walthourville Municipal court and other judicial authorities.
We pride ourselves in fair and impartial policy with respect, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and leadership.
